Infinite Joe

I like challenging books that make you think, and leave you happy that you did. Typically, I find character driven literary fiction the most satisfying, although I in no way think of myself as a serious literary critic.

Strong Motion

Strong Motion - Jonathan Franzen Although not as good as either The Corrections or Freedom, it was still a solid read. I keep trying to get people to read Franzen, so much so that I've even been accused of having a man-crush on him, but I still haven't been able to turn one person on to him. That's too bad. He really is a gifted writer, and he's able to work with complex characters and relationships (man-woman, person-family, friend-friend, etc.) better than most authors I've read. I'll continue to read anything this man writes.
